There is a great welcome for visitors and parents are encouraged to actively partake in school activities. We have a dedicated H.S.L.T. (Home School Liaison Teacher). Courses are run within the school for parents e.g: Help Your Child with Homework, Parenting courses and Cookery to name but a few. Our Curriculum subject areas include; English, Irish, Mathematics, S.E.S.E Religion, S.P.H.E, Visual Arts, P.E. as determined by the Department of Education and Skills.
The Department of Education and Youth recently carried out the Primary School Survey to gather the views and preferences of parents/guardians regarding the future of primary school provision.
We are now sharing our school’s survey results with parents/guardians. The results provide information on preferences relating to school type, patronage/ethos and language of instruction.
The Board of Management will now review the results and seek feedback from parents/guardians, staff, pupils and the wider school community.
