The Physical Education curriculum allows for an hour of physical activity each week for each class. We teach all 6 strands each year: Athletics; Dance; Gymnastics; Games; Outdoor and adventure activities; and Aquatics. Unfortunately Aquatics did not take place in recent years due to Covid restrictions. We invest regularly in a wide variety of P.E. equipment and also work with partners to gain access to other sports equipment. We have access to a school hall, yard space and a large green area. Our school has also secured funding for a new Astro turf pitch which will also enhance our Physical Education in our school. Each teacher is allocated 60 minutes of hall time each week to facilitate the teaching of P.E. Each class also teaches the PAWS water safety programme every year.
