We are getting ready for a busy two weeks in the school. The following is a list of activities your children will be involved in to prepare for the Festive season. All parents are very welcome to attend each event.
December 7th: Early Start Christmas Craft
December 8th: Early Start - final "A leanbh Session." Sessions will be back in January.
December 8th: Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception - 10:00am
December 14th: Christmas Mass at 10:00am. The children will perform a short Carol Service after.
December 16th: Exploration Dome will be coming to the school and each class will be attending interactive Science Experience.
December 20th: Carol Singing outside Penneys 10:30am - 12:30pm.
December 21st: Early Start & Infant Christmas Play in School Hall. Tea, Coffee and mince pies afterwards.

We have been involved with Team Limerick Clean up's 'Make a Big Christmas Tree' competition. This involved doing our bit for the environment and decorating a Christmas Tree with recyclable objects. All sorts of items were used to make decorations including water bottles, egg cartons, old cloth and fabric, bottle caps and much much more. In total we decorated three trees. Early start, Junior Infants and senior infants combined to decorate one tree, first second and third did a second tree and fourth, fifth and sixth did a third tree. The trees will be displayed in The Crescent Shopping Centre from Monday the 5th of December until the 12th of December. To see pictures of the great trees the children decorated click read more.

First Class took a trip to the MIC as part of science week. They learned lots about science and had great fun. Here are some of the photos.

On Friday we had our Awards ceremony for Ocotber. We had awards for Student of the Month and Gaeilgóír na Míosa. We also awarded certiciates to all the children who had 100% attendance for October. There was prozes for the award winners and one person from eacch class with 1005 attendance also got a prize. Well dont to all the certificate winners.
